And now it's Halloweekend! We kicked everything off with school parties and pumpkin "patching." Friday is not usually Miles' school day, so I dropped him off and stayed to help with the fun. They played some fun games and got some huge treat bags. Our contributions to the treat bags were these little candy filled mummies. They were so fun to make with toilet paper tubes, crepe paper and googly eyes. How will we ever craft such cute things when the TP goes tube-less? His cute classmates at storytime:
Audrey does go to school on Friday so I stopped in her room to see how the party was going. That was almost a mistake. I think she realized Miles was leaving with me and she begged me to take her too. Poor thing. But I know she had a blast while I wasn't there and it's all a big show for mom.

faces and read the story.
After school we hit the patch around the corner for some last minute pumpkins. They still had a decent selection, so we got a good one to carve a super-scary face (a Miles request). More to come one that!
