Veggie tales

Today we introduced Miles to sweet potatoes. I don't think this picture requires much explanation, but yes, he loved them. We had our rice cereal in the morning and this was lunch. We've got green beans and bananas to add over the next week.

So in relation to his expanding food diet I must share with you this post from daddytypes. Ah, the French and their educational websites! 

Ferber shmerber.

Here's the giggly boy. He's so close to sitting alone. We propped him up with the Boppy today so he could play with his toys. So much fun!

We also did a "bad" precedent thing today... we napped with Miles!! He'd taken such good naps at daycare all week - two hours every morning. So when he woke after only 30 minutes this morning, we decided it would be nap time for the whole family! We got the two hours.

Giggity Allllright

Wayne has discovered "The Family Guy" and we can't get enough. We DVR it every night now and enjoy it the next evening. Meanwhile, I've been compiling the list of fun things for Miles to enjoy and in an exciting synergy of superfly seventies kid-vision and current snarky humor, we present this.

Crocodile Tears

I know, what a sad face to start this blog. Poor kiddo. But really this is just the mood swingin' early evening, just before bath & bedtime. A little more frustrating for Miles than mommy! Bed time is early and we usually don't hear a peep until the wee hours. Yay for the good sleeper! Hopefully he will be tonight...  

Here we go!

So I'd been thinking about this blog thing for a while and dabbled with starting one for the fam to keep up with Miles. But I was always stuck on what to call it (yes, we have problems deciding on names with everything). Then I got an e-mail from US Airways titled "Get More Miles. Lots More Miles." and here we are!

I can't promise how much I'll be writing here, but hey I'll try.
