Hanging out

Here are a few more shots from Miss Audrey's arrival. I also added more to the Shutterfly link at the right (or click here). I haven't uploaded January or February, but hey, I know what you really want to see!

Miles is doing great with Audrey so far. He wants to be around her all the time and has the sweetest grin on his face when he says "baby sister!" I guess calling her that for all these months is a hard habit to break, but he's starting to get used to calling her Audrey. We'll have to work on some other names in the house too, as "daddy!" has now become "Wayne!" screamed throughout the house. At least he hasn't tried to call me Nicole yet. Although he did call me Aunt Nicole once...

We're on our own tonight. PawPaw and Mimi headed back home this morning. They made it safely despite the 6(!) inches of snow predicted for Memphis. For the last few nights I've been getting up to feed the Sweet Pea and then calling Mimi down to burp and rock her back to sleep. I think she was fairly easy to get back down... guess I'll learn in the next several hours. Hope I have the same touch Mimi did... we got a couple of 3 hour stretches between feedings last night, which seems like an eternity when she'd been doing 90 minutes to 2 hours all day. But at least she's eating well. And I need a new nickname - Pamela would be appropriate - and theme music by Kelis.

Off to sleep while I can... tomorrow YaYa comes over to help out for the first part of the week. Not sure I'm ready for a full day home alone with both kiddos. That would require mucho nap time for mommy!
